Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your Mude pieces. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how returns and refunds work.


Initial made-to-order launch

Our first release is produced in a limited made-to-order run.

For these items, each piece is made specifically for you once your order is placed. Because of this, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing, or preference, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

This applies only to our initial made-to-order launch and allows us to produce responsibly while ensuring the highest quality for every piece.


Standard returns

For items that are not made to order, we offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition
  • All original packaging and tags must be intact
  • Proof of purchase is required

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 30 days of receiving your item if it is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Email hello@mudeclothing.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item

We’ll review the details and let you know the next steps.

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer either:

  • A replacement, or
  • A full refund (including standard delivery costs)

Where a return is required, we’ll provide instructions before anything is sent back.


Refunds

If a return is required, we’ll notify you once the item has been received and inspected, and confirm whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.


Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to purchase a different item, the fastest way is to return the original item (where eligible) and place a new order.


Cancellations

For made-to-order items, production begins shortly after an order is placed. For this reason, cancellations are not guaranteed.

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.


Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Made-to-order items (unless faulty or incorrect)
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards


Your rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
